Jenna's Quest

Jenna woke up one early morning. Balto wasnt even up. She had had a dream about being a very little puppy, only 5 weeks old.It was her, and she was out in the wilderness. She was playing with other pups. 2 females, and 3 males. There were a two adults too, along with about twenty four others. she realized they all looked like wolves, and her mom looked wolf, and her dad huskie. Her, one of her sistrs, and two males looked like theirr dad: Rust colored fur and white undersides. The rest looked wolf.Her moms name was Icetip, and her dads was a typical huskie name: Sarge.
Then, suddenly, she saw a wolf stand up, and look. Her mom caught it too. A few others stood too. She had run over to her mom. Then, one wolf started to run. She just knew his name for some reason, but his name was Kayro. he ran, and jumped over a rock, and in midair, a bang sounded, and he fell, right onto the rock, limp and not breathing. She shrank into her moms fur.
Another wolf bolted the other way, and another bang sounded. He fell dead. His mate, Ferrio, ran up to him, and then she saw him. A man in orange with a gun. She ran, and BANG! She was not killed, but shot in the footpaw. She tripped and tumbled, then got up and ran as fast as her shot leg would allow. She got away, for no more bangs sounded.More wolves bolted her way, and more bangs went off. Some got away, others didnt. Jenna ran with her mom, and then the wolf right beside her, a male named Rico, was shot down.
Others were shot. Then she heard a thud behind her. She looked, still running, and saw her mom, lying on the ground, dead. Her dad picked her up and ran.He dropped her at one point, but she just ran some more. Then she heard another thud behind her, and looked back again, afraid. Yes, her thoughts were true. There was her dad, dead on the ground. She hid in his fur.The hunters came up, five in all, and looked at him.
"You idiot, you shot a purebred huskie..he would have been a good sled dog!" said a man, hitting another man.
"Well how was I supposed to know??!! He was with a pack of wolves!" said the man.
"Stop!" said another. "Look what I found"
He uncovered the crying Jenna. He scooped her up, and said "This must be his pup. Looks just like him...female though"
"Come on, lets kill her" said a rotten faced man.
"No, I will take her home and raise her myself. Besides, Rosie will like her." said the man, walking home.
Jenna now knew that she was part wolf too. Like her mate,Balto. She told balto this, and he nodded. they set out to find her old pack members. Also, she knew some of her sisters and brothers got away. All she knew was that two didnt. A male and a female. Neither were huskie look likes. But after she told Balto, they both set out to find them.
