In the book, Clean Break by Jacqueline Wilson, they go to London for a special trip to see Em's favourite author. They are lining up and there is a huge croud in the street.
"Why are all those people there, Gran?" said Vita.
"Don't ask me," said Gran. "Hang on, there's that musical, The Lion King, on at the theatre up ahead. Maybe they are queuing for a show. There's lots of children, that must be it."
