In Monster Rancher the Anime, I forget the ep. name but it was in that village with the snow like people. When a baddie came to the village and attacked it the Pheonix came. The Pheonix came and and asked the baddie why he was attacking them and the baddie said he was hungrey. The Pheonix was burning himself while saying "All of us...Children,Monsters,animals and people..we are all connected IN THE CIRCLE OF LIFE'
