These are the lands commonly accessable in the
Celestial Volcano. In addition to these, each pride member has
their own private cavern in the Volcano walls. OOC- credit goes
to Zalima for the creation of the lake sides, boulder field, the
trail to the caves and the grasslands.
As you enter the wide cavern you blink at the amount of
light that suddenly fills your eyes. When they adjust you
stare out in awe at the sight before you. Looking out of
the cavern you can see a large expanse of land. All
inside the volcano!
Circular Outcropping
You walk out of the safety of the cave and look around in
awe. The lands are more beautiful than you ever imagined,
an incredible view catches your eye and has you turning
your head for a moment. Looking straight ahead, the
outcropping extends into a slender raised path that
creates a divede between the two parts of the inside
volcano. It seems to terminate at the center of the
volcano directly under the large circular opening. To
your right and left are gentle spiraling slopes that go
down into the two halves
Right Slope
You go down the right slope silently padding along. The
strange texture of the ground takes away the sound from
your paws as you move along the trail. Looking to your
left you can see the division in the center stretch high
and block out your view of the other side. Looking
forward the green land starts to come up to meet you
slowly.
Celestial Fields
Upon arriving at the fields you immidiately look down to
see what you have stepped in. The texture is foriegn to
your paw pads but as you look at it you grow to
understand why. The ground is overgrown with a sort of
hybrid clover and grass which creates a very springy and
tight carpet over the ground. As you walk along it you
smile because it feels so light it almost tickles your
paws as you walk along it. This carpet stretches out for
a good distance, all the way to the cone part of the
volcano. It is almost like savannah, only without the
animals grazing and the hot dry grass. You smile and want
to lie down and rest a little.
Slender Division
You walk out onto the slender division carefully. The
path is not all that wide, only enough room for two
animals going in either direction. Looking to the side
you can see the paths slowly fade away and smile at your
view. Looking to your left you can see the Celestial
Gardens and to the right you can see the Celestial Fields.
The land begins to take shape and you can look about and
see most of the area. Ahead of you the division seems to
stop in a fairly large circle.
Celestial Circle
You walk on and reach a large circle at the end of the
slender divsion. The circle is large, able to fit in
excess of 10 animals but it is the view which makes you
stop in your tracks. To the left are the Celestial
Gardens and to the right are the Celestial Fields.
However straight ahead as you walk to the edge of the
raised circle, you have a magnificent view of Celestial
Lake. The lake takes up and incredible amount of space on
the far side of the volcano nd it's beauty is accented by
the light that shines down from the wide opening directly
above. Looking up, you can see that you are in fact in
the absolute center of the volcano. The Circle you are
standing on takes a commanding view over the lake and can
be seen easily by those relaxing below by the lake's
southern shore which likens it to a flat promotory on any
other land.
Left Slope
You come down to the left and begin down the trail. The
ground takes on an odd shape, having a wide flat side and
then a curved other side. The ground has a strange
texture as well and makes no noise as you silently move
along it. The divison to your right gets higher and
higher slowly, until you cannot even see over to the
other side.
Celestial Gardens
As you enter as sense of awe overtakes you. Looking
around you can see various plants of magnificent colors.
Flowers bloom beautifully all around you and you are
surrounded in a high amount of green. There is a large
open spot in the middle where it appears that nothing has
grown and some overgrowth provides shade there as well.
You can lies out on the ground and look about at the
beautiful plants that have been made here. Looking back
you can still see the trail and the divison cutting your
view of the other side. The warm nature of this dormant
volcano has made this a spot of warmth and comfort as a
cool breeze spirals down every once in a while to cool
you off.
Celestial Lake: East
Shore
The very center of the valley crator of the Celestial
Volcano is also it's crowning jewel. You stand on the
shore of a rather large crator lake. The pool is so clear
and reflective that you swear that you can see the
bottom, and at the same time, every detail of your own
reflection. When the sun shines over the crator, the
soft, lulling waves sparkle like a thousand diamonds in
the cool water. On this side of the shore there is a rock
formation that is perfect for sunbathing and relaxing on.
One tree shades a part of the formation to keep those who
wish out of the sun.
Celestial Lake: West
The grasses on this shore lead all the
way up to and for a bit into the lake. You can lie on the
cooling grass and watch the east over the lake when the
sun first appears over the high sides of the volcano. It
is truely a sight to behold after sitting and watching
the full reflection of the night sky in the water before
you.
Celestial Lake: North
This shore of the lake has a sandy shore
which leads up to a small stretch of green savannah. This
place is perfect for cubs who want to get messy or lovers
wanting to get cozy.
Celestial Lake: South
On this side of the shore there is a
small group of trees growing in the lush green grass.
Celestial Meadow
The meadow is vast, lush, and green, and the grass seems
to tickle yout paws and legs as you meander through it.
It seems to extend for at least 2 good cheetah
sprintsthat frequent the . Some small flowers grow among
the grasses, giving the meadow a wonderful fragrence.
Small herds of antelope and gizelle volcano can be seen
grazing on the seemingly boundless greenerythe volcano, .
To the east you can make out the edge of the crator lake
at the center of and to the west is more grassland, with
the odd oasis of trees breaking up the view to the high
edge of the volcano opening.
Celestial Grasslands
Large stretches of grassland are broken up often by small
groups of trees creating tiny forests of six trees
growing closely together. The land begins to slope up
around here and soon you also see the wall of the volcano
streatching above you. You see a small 'trail' leading up
the wall to a cave.
Main entrance to the Pridal Caves
This is a rather large cave in comparason to the others.
This is where the pride can meet and discuss pridal
affairs, politics, or just chit-chat. On both sides are
entrances to thecircle of caves that run around the
interior of the volcano walls. There are soft, grassy
beds for members to lounge on and plenty of room for cubs
at play. The walls are a charcoal grey from the times
many years ago when the volcano was active.
