In the Lion King Family Tree something is REALLY wrong: or scar isn't the real father of Kovu, or Kovu should be a lot older than Kiara (and not the same age) in the movie, if he's part of the fourth generation. The same applies to Vitani. Also, how can Vitani and Kovu be brothers if they are, apparentely, the same age?

When I was a child I loved watching the Lion King movie because they were so good. Well now my children like the songs and movies and that makes me happy. My son loves the song "Can You Fell The Love Tonight", thats one of my favorites also. But when it comes to "The Lion King" songs and movies, I will watch and listen to them before any other movie and song that is childrens. I am happy I was able to you guys why I loved the movies and songs it's a great feeling for being able to tell others.

i thought the show was great. i loved that boy who played little sabia,he could dance,sing. also i liked when they did the sound effects like that booming earthquck with that gravity.

i used to love the lion king but now....i just hate it...it's a bad movie if you like hyenas. hyenas are NOT the brainless brutes that people diliberately portray them as. they are very intelligent creatures who use brain-power in hunting, unlike lions who use just brute stregnth. SO PLEASE...THINK OF THE HYENA AS A BEAUTIFUL LOVEY ANIMAL INSTEAD OF AN UGLY BEAST.

I just happened to read Joseph R. Chambers little essay in which he thoroughly condemns "The Lion King". Talk about reading too much into something!
The elements of the story that he mentions do exist in the movie, of course, but his interpretations and conclusions are extreme and go far beyond what the makers of "Lion King" intended. Just about all of the examples he brings up and claims to be suspicious and spurious are universal themes that can be found in all sorts of literature throughout history - from Homer to Shakespeare to Tolkien and C.S. Lewis, and even in the Biblical narrative itself.
If someone wants to see such things as some kind of covert and underhanded propaganda for Satanism and astrology, it certainly says more about the person who is leveling the criticism than about the particular work of fiction which is being criticised.
Chambers seems to be a classic example of a despotic, vain and bigoted fire-and-brimstone preacher who won't rest easy until he controls each and every aspect of the lives of his congregation members, including their taste in popular culture. Disgusting!

Hi my name is Caileigh Detkowski and well since i'm in the comments box I should tell you on my feelings toward The lion king. Okey here it goes I LOVE THE LION KING so very very very very much i can watch it all day and never get tired of it. The lion king was my first sentence i have said of when I was a baby and i watched it all the time 24 hours all my life. This movie is absolutely amazing. As a child, I loved it for the songs, Timon and Pumba, and the young cubs. :) Now, as I am growing older, even though I still love everything I used to about the movie, I am able to fully inderstand it, and even get a message from it. It's also quite hilarious. :)

I love The Lion King. It was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. Of course, I cried and had to be carried out. I really love this sight and found it helpful while looking up lyrics. I am also really glad to have found some Simba's Pride stuff, which is one of my favorite Disney movies. Awesome!

my favorite disney animated movie.. and favorite broadway musical.. and now my choir is doing it this summer.. we boughe the scores ect ect.. but it doesnt have all the lyrics.. i mean the additional ad libs and additional lyrics... not even this site has it.. i dunno why??.. does anyone know the additional lyrics that arn't on this site.. eg:- in circle of life there is the ingonyama zulu chant.. but when the lead female sings "its the circle of life".. there is a phrase that the zulu chorus says that i cant quite make out as well as the additional ad libs in the broadway circle of life.. can anyone out there help me?.. email me. my address is displayed.. thanks
