Seems Disney met Tezuka in 1964 and he had already drawn a lion on a cliff which Disney would draw thirty years later. Hell of a time for a lion comeback! Must be a nice view up there. I guess we'll have to take a peak! Maybe pee-k? Catching up on lion material and getting ready to open a museum on our mountain = mountropolis in Montreal. We'll be building a new metro stop in the train tunnel trou the mountain and new quaters for our police horses nearby - scarface! Trou is a french word for a tunnel, and roux is a wheel, and the metro was under construction way back than in 1964. Try t-rex and t-rou, we examine every horizon through and through. Chalk one up for relativity! Now what was that about?

I found a Lion King push or ride car on E-Bay for my up and coming grandchild and bid and got the thing. I got a letter from the seller and she told me she was sorry but she must of lost it driving to the post office! She did put my money back in my bank butI had told my son what I had purchased and I hate to let them down. I thought it was really cute. I can't find one now. I looked all over for one to replace the thing. Does anyone have one for sale? Let me no, Later, Roy.

The Lion King is a film that has really moved me. It is by far my favorite of all movies, and still will be 20 years from now. The lion king made a huge impact on my life, giving me something i can always be cheered up by, and i just love it. I cna always cherish this movie for the rest of my life, and i don't care at anytime if ayone says i'm to old for it, because it doesn't matter if i'm too old or not, it is a great film and i forever and always love the lion king and the lion king 2, but not as much as the firts one. I really hope they make a lion king 3 and hopefully 4. It has made me happier than i already was, and i will never forget it. I like the lion king 1 better than 2, because simba is my favorite character, and i liked him better than when he is an adult ( i don't know why, i just do.) And it's not the way i loved it on the lion king 2, but it is still an awesome movie as well as number 1.

I love The Lion King. From the first time I saw it, I was completely blown away. I bet you, there is no one in the world who likes The Lion King more than me.
My sister and I used to watch it all the time and we used to crack up when we saw Timon and Pumbaa and I used to hide behind a pillow when I saw Scar and heard a lion roar, ha ha.
I love The Lion Kings 11/2 and 2. The flow straight from where The Lion King ended so I don't have to hesitate to figure out the connection.
I love the characters. I can name them all with my eyes closed: Simba Nala Mufasa Timon Pumbaa Sarabi Rafiki Shenzi Bonzai Ed Kiara Kovu Sarafina Well my eyes weren't closed because I had to type.
Above all, I love the songs. And me being a singer and a musician, I find myself singing them 100 times a day.
All this is to say, I LOVE THE LION KING!!! And Beuty and the Beast but we wouldn't get into all that.

The movie was excellent! Michael and me cuddled and…kissed during parts of the movie. Michael is GREAT kisser! I can only imagine what type of lover he would be, out of the presence of all those that attended the movie.
The other movie, which we truly enjoyed, was the "The Witches of Eastwick." The characters Cher, Michelle Pfeiffer and Susan Sarandon all gathered around a warm fire while drinking martinis. They started a conversation about the town being boring and that there were no men that fit their expectations as the perfect man. One commented she would like a man with intelligence, the other suggested a man, perhaps well endowed and the third character desired a man that was romantic.
In the end all three actresses succeeded in turning Jack's character back into the pathetic lonely man he truly was and…who in turn loses what he deems…as "power" over the women. Not true…he lost and they won!

When The Lion King came out on June 24th, 1994, I was only three years old. However, it quickly surpassed every movie I had ever seen, all the Disney Princess stories, with Belle and Snow White and Cinderella, all the good old movies like The Jungle Book and Oliver Ad Company and The Fox And The Hound, and basically everything else in my life very quickly. When the VHS came out the following year, I was first in line at the Post Mall, along with the rest of my King-Crazy family, to buy it in the Disney Store. Within the week I knew every song, and within the month I knew every line, and mind you, at four years old, that was an incredible feat. I used to recite for family and friends, and have almost every collectible stuffed animal, every t-shirt, every action figure and every coloring book imaginable. The Lion King was my life, from that point on, and it still is. As an artist, it is my great pride and joy to render the various scenes in every medium imaginable, and I have added The Lion King II: Simba's Pride and The Lion King 1 1/2 to my repertoire of memorized scripts. To this day, I have my original ticket stub from the showing of The Lion King that I went to in 1994, three years old as I was. You may think that I have no life... well, I'm not going to argue with you. It's true. But whatever life I do have, I devote to The Lion King. That movie is my heart and soul, from "Nant's Ingonyama" to "King of Pride Rock", and every song, line, scene and memorable moment inbetween. All those at Disney who took part in such a wonderful epic masterpiece should be proud that they have become part of such an amazing experience that has taken the world over. Translated into 32 different languages, the highest grossing animated film, and quite a few awards have turned this movie from the B-movie it was supposed to be into an A-list project that's been lavished on, the world over, by many a talented individual. Many thanks to the operator of www.LionKing.org for keeping this site up and running, so that true fans like myself can spread their love for the world of The Lion King, from the Pridelands to every corner of the earth. Long live The Lion King!

I first saw it when I was 4 years old. I have the Platinum Edition DVD, Lion King 1 1/2 on DVD, and Lion King 2 on VHS. I also saw the Broadway show for my sixth grade trip. This flick's a true Disney classic. Everything about it's just simply Disney at it's best. So, when's it gonna come out on Blu Ray? Hopefully I'll have an HDTV and DVD player by then.

Okay I'm not going to say I'm the number 1 lion king fan or anything like that BUT When I saw the Lion King 2 Keira was such an awesome name I have never heard it until then. I vowed to my friends that when I have my first little girl her name would be Keira. Well with all the excitement in 2001 of having my first child I named her with a different spelling of Keyra which is said the same way Key-are-ah. And she just turned 6 years old and she loves her name and she watching the movies about a hundred times a week. I'm a 26 year old woman but I'm a kid at heart and will always love great disney movie such as Lion King.

This is such a wonderful movie! I've watched it when I was six years old, and now the original (english) version... It still makes my bones shiver. There will never be a movie like this anymore. This is in short the best movie of Disney Pictures! =D

I am a grandmother who buys all movies for the grand kids and love to spend time with all of them. I have little time left here so I try hard to spend as much time as I can with them.
