For those of u who don't know what the winston cup is, its a nascar championship in Kansas city. Cars 9 and 19 (remember, TLK paint schemes?), driven by Bill Elliot and Jeremy Mayfield respectively, ar in 2nd and 3rd. Bill Elliot (Adult simba paint scheme) was in 1st for at least 20 - 30 laps, but he fell back to as far as 23rd with two pt stops and two cautions. i'll keep ya updated later! BTW, the race is in 105 laps of 267...

You may ahve read my TLK sighting for nascar i posted abotu 1/2 hour ago. However, I don't think its up yet. (if it isn't, heres a reminder to all poeple who dont know about it. Turn to what ever channel NBC is on at 10 am pacific time! THAT'S RIGHT NOW, PEOPLE! Anyway, I'm in grade 9. I live in canada. Im also a guy. Im also a huge TLK fan. Not obsessed, but I think about all the time.
First your thinking, OMG a guy in high school who likes TLK. Yes I know what you mean. Which is why I the internet to share my thoughts and feelings on subjects that if I talked about to people I knew I get laughed at so hard, I'd dissapear out of pure will.
Finally I can say what I want: TLK is a AMAZING movie. Not just by others (It one 3 acadamy awards an got nominated for something like 6 others for gosh sakes), but by myself as well. I watched the video that I had when was younger a week ago with my 4 year old sister. Lately ive been thinking about it all the time. TLK is a story that (this is agreed in many sites on the Member directory) affects in the most profound ways. It soemtimes, if your a hardcore obsessed fan, gives life new meaning. Its one of those stories that you want to be a part of. At the end of it you dont want it to end. Another example of this is the Redwall Series by Brian Jacques (Im a BIG redwall fan). You want to be an actuall part of the story.
You want to be Simba, have an adventure as exciting as TLK, actually become a lion and have no worries (sound familiar?) about human things: technology, politics, anything sophisticated. You want to experience the stampede sequence, you watch CYFtLT and actually want to love someone. You want to experience to anything and everything of fantasy.
You probably think I'm a lunatic. Now that I think about I probably am.

I adore the Lion King. It was the first movie I ever saw in the theatre. I watch it weekly. I take it on trips with me to watch in hotels, I have seen the Broadway twice on Boradway and once in Toronto. I hope it comes to our new theatre soon, like Phantom did and Mama Mia and etc. I cannot wait until Tuesday!

I was especially moved by this powerful production. My 19 year old daughter, a Marine in the United States Marine Corp, was safely returned to me last week and we had the opportunity to see the play. We both cried, laughed, and felt joy. I was deeply touched by the sincerity paid to the human race. It reminded me how when we all go outside there is such a diversity of energy in the flowers, the plants, the trees, and the birds. They too inhibit the earth and seem to do just fine in sustaining life. My daughter experienced danger in the most extreme ways being in the Middle East, but she was returned physically healthy, but this production helped her reach her emotional health. Thank you for delivering such a profound message of life and death, and how we all must become part of the circle of life. God bless everyone who participated in the delivery of this timely, but yet beautiful expression of what it means to love others and to celebrate all things of God's creations. Jennifer A. Hello! I just want to say that despite being 18 years old I love The Lion King and will never ever ever grow out of it. One of my favourite moments is when Zazu sings the song, "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts..." I'm not sure if it's a real song or not but me and my friends are always singing it, and don't know anymore of it past the line, "big ones small ones, some as big as your head", and we were wondering if there was anyone out there who knows the rest of the lyrics, or any more of them. I've tried lyric sites but they just don't seem to have them. Plus, I'm not sure what the actual title of the song is, if it's a proper song. So, if anyone can help me, please email me and give me what you've got! Thankyou! I need these words! Having to sing only half a song every time is driving me craaaaazy!

Ive always been mad on The Lion King since I saw 2 times at the cinema when I was small. When I got the video I watched it all the time and finally knew the scipt of by heart and still do I know the script of by heart from The Lio King II since my 1st Lion King video broke:( Ive missed it and seeing it on the IMAX Large Format screen at the cinema 6 times brought alot of memorys so can't wait till next month

Wow, this is a great TLK site! In fact, in all my life, this is the first one that I've actually been to. As a child, I was a very big fan of The Lion King. I would watch the movie a hundred times and sometimes act out the scenes. My favorite characters were Simba and Nala. I honestly never expected a site about the TLK, especially around these times, and I am very thrilled that there are still sites that support it. There's a whole lot of information, and its just so interesting. Wow. Great site.
