Yes, the Lion King is *the* best Disney film ever, tho' I do also like the oldies. (Pinnochio is good)I was kinda dissapointed at the sequel (Tho I doubted it would live up to the expectations of the first, anyway.) If LK3 is intentional, I think that the hyenas would be great to be back in it! ^_^

Psstt..u's wanna know some jucy stuff about the Lion King 3? It's kinda long and complicated though, since they cut stuff out of TLK2, but I'll try to shorten it a bit. It turns out that at the end of TLK, when Rafiki holds up Simbas cub, it is male. Yes, male. Simbas son is taken from him, by Zera in an attempt to stop the next King. Thats why Simba is so pertective of Kiara, his next born cub, and thats also why nalas eyes are blue in TLK2 and green in TLK, because she cried so much it turned her eyes blue. One of Zera's friends looks after Simbas son, saying she'll kill him, but instead she looks after him until he is grown up. In TLK3, Simbas son (who they rekon is going to look like Mufasa) comes back to claim the throne. It's more complicated than that, but thats roughly it.

Hey great site! I am unusual in the fact that I love TLK and TLK:II, have the Broadway soudtrack and TLK Collection CD's and i'm 19! People tell me to grow up but I reckon that TLK communicates on two levels, the profound level (The circle of life etc.) and the entertaining level (For the kids). I am having trouble locating two pices of TLK merchandise - "Rhythm of the Pridelands" a CD and "A matter of pride" a fan book by Christine Morgan, does anybody know of an internet shop that sells these as I've tried loads (Including Disney's!) with no luck!!!Great Films, Great Music (Who ever considered the music in TLK 1 + 2 "substandard" wants thier head examining!!!), Great artwork... You seem to have worries about the Lion King copywrite. Do not worry. The original concepts for a Lion King began at McGill University in Montreal in 1979 by architect-artist Brian Maged. Exhibitions of cartoon material were presented to the public in the McConnel Engineering Building and the history is fully documented. Presentations were officially made to the National Film Board Of Canada in the City Of Saint Laurent Canada and to CFCF Productions, thou continued development into an animated movie was rejected at the time. The Montreal production was to have had a different script and supplementry characters of course, but the general idea was first conceived here for a Lion King and family of lions. Numerous displays and community events were held throughout the 1980s and interviews were done on cable television in 1982 and displays at the Halloween Adventure at the Montreal Forum between 1989 and 1992, and at the Molson Centre in subsequent years. The American Production -Between the Lions- is another show based on the pioneering efforts in Canada. In fact in 1982 Mr.Maged visited the New York Public Library doing historical research on lion sculptures which was a specialized area of research in his university thesis. In a 1980 exhibition a mousetrap was set for the competative company that had no employment oppurtunities for the young creator but did thank him considerably for interest in their company. Drawings and modified materials are preserved in our archives. The story of an ambitious Montrealer who grew up in the SHADOW of the New York WORLDs FAIR, MONTREALs EXPO 67 (the greatest fair of the 20th Century) and the Peace Movement may be of much interest to a culture starved generation and their parents. It is the true story of the origin of a LION KING, and the significant interaction that has resulted in his contacts with the world of art, animation, and architecture. I hope to be able to continue this dialogue with your management and fans. There is a wealth of information here that will probably be all brand new to you. I personally enjoyed the Disney movie and related activities because it was expanding on work that was already in progress here in Montreal. My interests are directed more towards the architectural implications of the Lion King so I never prosecuted for violation of my copywrites. essentially the focus is diffent. I hope that this will soon begin a series of correspondances, as well, perhaps you might be interested in the Lion attraction I would like to create in the Montreal area. The Lion King is the best movie that was ever made by Walt Disney.
I still think TLK 2 is the best movie ever created. Next to it TLK 1, but the second is best. I like this site too, but still think something is missing. Please do not get me wrong on this one, it not that. I wish just that there was more interaction on this site. What I mean is that the fans of TLK should have something to say.I guess most of us obviously wants a 3rd film... I have not heard of anything yet, but please let us have a say to the Disney people who can create a new one if they want.My site is not a TLK site, neither is it a fansite of some other matter. I absolutely love teh Lion King and the Lion King 2. I can't wait till there is a third, I'm looking forward to it!!! I was looking for the lyrics to ome of my all time favorite songs "Can You Feel The Love Tonight", "Circle of Life" and "We Are One". OK, Peter pan 2, Jungle book 2!!!! What is disney playing at!! I am one of the most biggest fans of Disney ever but that is just milking it completely!! Why don't they just get on with TLK3, cause nothing is better then that. You can get a story line outta that but not out of the others!For TLK 3 i dont wanna see Simba die, and i dont wanna see Kiara and Kovu take over, Simba IS the lion king, their just other characters that happen to be there.
