Walt Disney is my mother's great-uncle. Many of our Disney relatives are very proud of Walt Disney and the company he built. The Lion King is a tremendous story and it delights children and adults throughout the world. Congratulations on another successful adventure.

Hello to all my friends out there. I'm quiet new in this and I've been using LionKing nick since I've started to surf the net. Anyway , just a gentle reminder for all of ....'Don't Ever Go Beyond Your Normal Control" . Well my friends ...smile always as it will bring the cherish in yur life. Hakuna Matata!!
HiYes im back, i just watched the "Lion King" video for the 97 time!! ill be at 100 soon!! The lion king was the best thing that has happen to my life. I had made programs and all sorts of other stuff to do with the Lion King. My new Program will be relsed very soon :) The thing about the Lion King was that it was done very well. The bit were the antlope are running down the hill and it kind of gos outa focus, thats good. It made shivers go down my spine. I hock up my radio to the T.V and watched it, god it make a massive difference. The sound is also one of the biggest things that make the whole of the Lion King come alive. For every big part there is always some sort of music that makes that part stand out. Timon was my favort character in TLK, hes just so cool and cute. Ha that coming from a 14 year old boy!! I don't know why I love the Lion King, its just one of thos movies that has change my life, and will continue to do so. Timon and Pumba really fit into the movie as well, they made it alot better. Also Scars voice, well thats really cool, it made him very scary! Well that all for me. Just one last thing. -=* I LOVE THE LION KING *=- Thanks Hayden

Where did you hear this info from that there is going to be a Simba's Pride preview when they show The Lion King on December 7th on ABC? I heard that there is going to be a preview in the video release of Hercules.

Hi Brian.Just writing to mention that your TLKiaWoL link is not working (either that or my server is getting a life of it`s own). Happy 500 000 to you, by... Almost forgot- this is the first time ...Maintainer's note: Yes, I know. The www.tlkiawol.org server has been down for almost a month now, while the network provider looks for new resources.AAAAAARGH. My connection crashed again. Now where was I? Oh yeah, this is the first time in 2 months since I discovered your site that you were not logged in (before that I thought I was just a nutcase, since I don`t know any fans personaly). I guess that is it.Yes... that's because I was moving back to campus today. -BTBy.

MY COUSIN IN FLORIDA WROTE HIS OWN SEQUEL TO THE LION KING (SORRY I'M NOT GRAMMATICALY CORRECT, IT'S 5 IN THE MORNING). HE'S ONLY TEN THOUGH, SO THE PLOT IS KIND OF GOOFY. THE STORY STARTS OFF AT THE END OF THE PREQUEL WHEN SIMBA'S SON IS BEING INTRODUCED. HE CONVEINEINTLY NAMED THE CUB KAMBU (CAME-BOO) AFTER THE STREET HE LIVED ON. THE STORY MAINLY SURROUNDS TIMON WHO FINDS HIMSELF ALONE AFTER PUMBAA DECIES TO HANG WITH HIS HERD FOR A WHILE. IT'S KIND OF SAD BECAUSE HE EXPLAINS WHY TIMON IS CONSIDERED AN OUTCAST. TIMON FINDS A BEAUTIFUL FEMALE MEERKAT NAMED CAJI (KAY-J-E) WHO HE FALLS HOPELESSLY IN LOVE WITH (EVEN THOUGH HE DOESN'T WANT TO). LITTLE DOES HE KNOW THAT SHE IS WORKING FOR THE EVIL GUY, VARGAS (PRONOUNCED LIKE IT SOUNDS) WHO IS TYING TO GET A SECRET FROM TIMON. WHAT IT IS- I DON'T KNOW, THAT'S ALL HE TOLD ME. MY COUSIN WANTS TO SEE IF ITS OF ANY INTEREST TO ANY ONE BESIDES OUR GRANDMA, SO IF YOU WANT AN ILLISTRATED COPY FOR FUN, E-MAIL ME AND I'LL HAVE HIM SEND YOU ONE (SINCE HE'S GOT TO PAY POSTAGE HA HA) HE REALLY WANTS TO SEND A SCREEN PLAY TO DISENY, BUT COULD CARE LESS. THE WAY DISNEY HAS BEEN GOING LATELY, I DOUBT ANY SEQUEL TO THE LION KING WOULD BE ANY GOOD. LOVE AND KISSES- MICKEY

Hi Brian, it`s me again. Here is some new questions and (gasp!) critics.
-are the CAV discs (specifically TLK CAV-CD) in a TV (you need a player, something like a VCR) format or in computer format (CD-ROM cind of thing)?
Maintainer's note: CAV laserdiscs are one of two standard formats for laserdiscs (the other is CLV). To play it, you need a CAV laserdisc player. It's not intended for interface with a computer any more than a VCR is.
-do you have a MUCK character?
On TLKMuck, I was Simba for the first year of the muck's existence, and I built a large part of the original structure. I left the muck last summer, though.
-are TLK model drawings merchendise you can buy or did someone get REALLY lucky finding and buying them?
They were contributed by Myra Weber, who studied animation at a Disney-affiliated arts academy.
-I found this great page via TLKWR. I don`t know if you already have it among your links (I forgot to look and I don`t have the will power (boo, boo =) to type in this letter again) but it is really worth checking out (very high quality images). It is at HTTP://www.concentrict.net/~pretoris/ (though I did find your name mentioned on it so you probably know about it)
Yes, I have a link to it both in the "Other Pages" section and in the Image Archive.
-what EXACTLY is The Lion King (web?) Ring? (the info connection on it was loading for 10 minutes and I gave up)
It's a linked ring of websites; look at www.webring.org if you're unfamiliar with the idea. The reason why the banner doesn't load on most pages is that it is served off a machine which is currently off the net.
-in your version of the script (great piece of work) I found a few things which could be changed (discovered by watching TLK three times after reading it and blind luck :)
- you missed out the translation of Zazu`s name (maybe it`s really a name, but it still means something)=stupid/foolish
How do you know this? Can you quote a source? What language?
- when Rafiki hits Simba with his stick I think he says Jesus (though again I can`t be sure)
He says "Geez", a common innocuous abbreviation of the name. -BT
(E-main address on other letters- I keep forgeting it =)
Thanks again for your time, by!

Hi. no small talk this time since I`m right in the middle of writing my own fan-fiction story (wild cheers =).
-where can you get the CAV CDs for The Lion King (I found their picture and description on a fan`s homepage)
Maintainer's note: The CAV laserdisc boxed set is available in the US at most record and video stores-- I've seen it at almost every Tower Records I've been to, as well as the Wherehouse and Suncoast Video. I don't know about international availability.
-if you have read The Tales of Tanabi and Redemptation --> is there a story that happenes after TToT and before Redemptation? (in Redemptation it was mentioned, that Simba killed Kisasian defending Tanabi, but I do not remember that part (though I could have just forgotten it- I have read about 30 ff stories by now))
-oh yeah, I finally read Chronicles of the Pride Lands... ... what else can I say but WOW!!! If you ( meant as everybody that reads this ) have read it, I don`t need to tell you and if you did not read it THAN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR! Get and read it now. You can download it ( multiple stories ) from a page link on this site (I forgot which one so BT help me out).
It's the Text Files Archive.
-and another question for BT- are you still answering the questions in the guest book (haven`t seen a note in almost a week)
Yes, I answer every question that I can answer. Some I can't. -BT

Yes, The Lion King is the greatest movie ever made and I may be a fanatic but I was wondering who has seen the movie the most times. Thanks again to J. Falk for his rumour. Simba will probably die (a big part of the first movie IS The Circle of Life), but I too doubt the part about Egypt- even if they do use it, it`s going to be quite hard for them to do it with realism, not to mention avoiding human contact (if they put humans in the sequel, I`M going to their ass !!). About the actor E-mails - I haven`t found any yet but I`m looking.Oh yeah, a note to BT- I think it would be very helpfull if you put a What`s new (or something) item in the main ¨links¨ (don`t know what to call them) part (Copyright, Image Archive, ...). I visit your site quite often (as seen by my letters) and it takes up quite some time to search the entire site (though i`m not saying it`s not fun =).Maintainer's note: Notable changes are always logged in the Revision Log. This is one of the best pages I have ever visited. The Lionking and the Hunchback of Notre Dame are my favorate Disney animated films.I have the Lionking videocasette in English and in Greek.I have watched it more than fifty times and I have learned all the dialogs and songs by heart. However there´s something I don´t understand. Why does Scar get so angry when Zazu sings :It´s a small world after all. Maintainer's note: Because it's such a cheesy and overused song, and so annoying. :) Everyone who has visited Disneyland has had to deal with the problem of getting that song stuck permamently in their head... -BT
