Merry Christmas to one and all!

1995 has shown that TLK is not fading from sight like so many
other movies have within months of their release. Fans still
collect as much merchandise as they can get their paws on, and
alt.fan.lion-king is as active
as ever. Now, with 1996 upon us, we will see what will happen to this,
the movie that has done so much for all of us-- whether it will harden
into a permanent fixture in movie and human history, or whether
it will finally succumb to anonymity and fade away. Personally, I am
optimistic that the new year will prove anew that in The Lion King
we have another movie which will stand the test of time and be as
much of a beloved icon for many of us as Star Trek or Monty Python.
A good old quote is in order here:

Long live The King!

With fans like the ones who have all signed here, it will never die.

Sincerely,
Brian Tiemann

I AM THE WORLD'S GREATEST LION KING FAN.
I ADMIT THAT IT IS PRETTY STRANGE FOR A 23 YEAR-OLD TO GO GA-GA
OVER A CARTOON. bUT THEN AGAIN, WHY NOT? IF PEOPLE, YOUNG AND
OLD CAN BE A MICKEY MOUSE FAN, WHY CAN'T I BE A LION KING FAN?
I ADORE THE MOVIE! I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE CHARACTERS OF RAFIKI
AND PUMBA. RAFIKI IS SO FUNNY AND SUPER SMART. PUMBA IS SO KIND
AND INNOCENT. IF THERE'S ANYONE OUT THERE WHO IS A KID AT HEART
LIKE I AM, AND LOVE THE LION KING JUST AS MUCH AS I DO, DON'T
HESITATE TO DROP ME A LINE. I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM MY FELLOW
FANS!

Brian and Jennifer,

Ever since I travelled to this home page, I find myself coming
back here from time to time. It is an impressive site, Brian. Don't give
it up. TLK has touched a lot of different people, and it means a lot of
different things to each one of us. But in the end, it's the movie that
we all enjoy, and what ths storyline and the characters can bring to us on
a personal, emotional, and pleasurable level. Thanks for giving us your
Web Page, Brian. You deserve it.

Howdy All. It's me again.

To Brian, I seroiusly do not know why you let people like 'neil' to write
messages in your guest book if all he is going to do is bad-mouth The Lion
King. I'm sure he has made himself some very powerful enemies by now.

Maintainer's note: Censorship isn't my thing... it's a valid opinion,
and while I'll delete posts that have profanity or are otherwise totally
inappropriate, I'm not going to delete them because of the opinion
expressed. -BT

To Amelia (amelia@p24818.cle.ab.com), I'll make sure to tell my friends and
get them to write you some letters as well.

To anyone else who likes TLK and are looking for pen pals, I have two very
eager friends in Australia by the names of Alice and Anna and I can tell
you that they would love to have mail from people.

Is the rumor about a second Lion King true? Neat!

If someone was to start their own Lion King page, how would one go about
doing it? I'm going to see if I can.
Ps. My Email address has changed, so anyone writing to Anna Booth, Alice
Eckerman, Mandy Horner and Emma Hill (their entries are in the earlier
lists of the Guest Book), then you should write to them through:
viscount@merlin.net.au

Thanks.

Keep it up Brian, and kindly send me another address for a newsgroup in
which I can enroll my friends. The last one didn't exist.

Q: What's this I hear about a new version of TLW?
A: I'm going to be re-writing "The Longest Walk". The new
version will include new material, a new format(since I'm learning more
HTML), and pictures galore. This will be the final version. Any
and all outtakes that survived my hard drive crashing will be included.
Parts that didn't survive will be re-typed as best as I can remember,
although some parts sadly, have been totally destroyed.

I think Walt Disney and The Lion King are brilliant. I was in the Disney

lots of songs. But on the whole I think that I prefer Aladdin! It is very
funny and the songs and sundtrack are brilliant as well. Aladdin is my
favorite Disney film after that animated classic Pinnochio ( the long nose).

I've herd some pretty good things about this TLK page from Tenga. He
showed me his work and I have to say, "Tenga, to support Scar and risk
execution by Simba fans, truly brave"!! That's why I'm going to support
you! Busa Scar! I have no idea what it means but busa Scar! Tenga and Scar
rule! Any Simba fan that tries to battle wits with me is obviously
unarmed. Busa Scar!

Anyway off the record, Disney's "competetor", Warner Bros., might be
loosing the battle against net browsers for banning Warner "Fan Art". I'm
probably going to sound like a reporter but, "With the Cease and Desist
notes concerning the 'Fan Art' of both net and web browsers, Warner
popularity has indeed droped among web browsers. With that, they are
planning to boycott all Warner products, and probably turn to the next
source, Disney." This info is not to accurate (but some of it is) and all
cannot be trusted. Thanks T.F.! Now, If that don't generate Disney sales,
then you try! This means you, Sir Brian of Tiemann!

Like LORD Tenga said, "Anyone who opposes us can and *shall* be
defeated!" His heart's in the right place but his head... I don't know. As
for LORD Tenga himself, he's been better. Brian Tiemann, I'd like your
input and info. "Input! Input! I need more input!"

-Jhonny5: Short Circut

P.S. LORD Tenga's got new aliases: Mad Kat and Furlong are but two of the
3 names that he'll use... but don't tell anybody, espcially LORD Tenga!
He'll make my life a living hell!! One more quote and Joka's giving it up
"I'm sorry Mr. Berkowitz, but you don't have the redeemable qualities to
be allowed into meerkat heaven."

--Meerkat guardian: TLK's "Timon and Pumbaa"- Timon's time to go. I have
*no* idea why I put *that* down.

Obviously, circumstances have prevented me from defending Sacr for now. But
you see, Jarrod is the perfect example of what I want. A person willing to
put life and limb on the line to defend Scar 100%! Yet, I advertise once
again: People ready to defend Scar. To help him in our quest. To eliminate
all doubt of Scar being the true and rightful ruler of Pride Rock!! If
willing, look to my earlier writing in the guest book for address.

Great! Tippa's being moved to intensive care! I am free to speak my mind
once again! Scar is true! Scar is ultimate! Busa Scar! As for the quest to
free Scar, I have a few things to say, "It has begun", "It will not stop
untill it has consumed all", and "You may belive in Simba , but I beleve in
Scar, and he fell from Pride Rock like lightning!!!"

--- Shang Tsung, what people thought during the black plauge, and a
slight altercation of M.Bison

Ahh, Jarrod, again you speak the truth. Come now, we must help our
friend in need, my one and only king, Scar! If you can get troops for us, I
would be very gracious, also, to prove Scar innocent, I will use Scar's lost
autobiography as soon as it becomes availible to me.

P.S. If you're looking through the web, and you come across a
DarkStakers page signed LORD Tenga, and starts with the theme, it's mine.
Once again, I advretise: Defend Scar or you will not live to tomorrow. As
for my name, simians, LORD is to always be like this: LORD Tenga. Please
*Don't* forget that. Long live the true king! Long live Scar!

I am 17 years old and in Year 11 (11th Grade) at
Footscray City Secondary College. Since Year 7 I
have been fluctuating between becoming a cartoonist
or an animator. But on 28th September 1994, I
attended the Melbourne premiere of The Lion King...
and my decision was made in the first four minutes
of the film.
I never thought that animation could be so intense
and dramatic that a brief opening scene could move
me to tears.
It is because of the Lion King that I am going to
become an animator.
As Robert Guillame said in 'The Making of The Lion
King': "Maybe a young boy or girl will see this
film and be inspired by a dream of their own, and
one day some great and future achievements will
find its beginnings in... The Lion King.

P.S. I am also an enormous fan of The Simpsons...

tried to merge lion and hyena in an effort of peace? I am here my fellow
simians (and anything like them) to spread my word that Scar is truly and
without a doubt the monarch of peace! People of the pride, I ask you to join
me as I try to free Scar from the shackles of injustice! Help me to show
Scar that he still has people who belive in him! I ask you, no, *Scar* asks
you to help him! Scar really wanted peace for the pride, honest! If you
truly do beleve in him, join me hand in talon in paw as I do my best to
unlock the truth!! As for those like Tippa, we can and *shall* defeat them!
Plaese! Don't do it for me, do it for Scar!!!

Uh-oh..Tippa's here and I don't think she likes what I have said (even
though it is the truth). She's growling at me, which isn't a very good
sign... No! N-N-N-No please let me explain! It was all just a-a-a-a
mis-mis-misunderstanding! Please have mercy on me (my god, I'm sounding like
Scar)! Ow! Ow! I need those to procreate! Watch it! Ow! Oh man, this hurts!
It's amazing that I'm still here! Those are my favorite vertabrae! Take
this you stupid hyena! And this! How about one o' these! There! That ought
to show you who's boss!

Even though I've sustained massive injuries I am still here to spread my
message that Scar was, is, and always be innocent of any and all crimes!!
Like I said before, anyone who opposes us will be defeated! Now are you
ready to join with me! If so, snail mail me at: 8-64 Schroder St. Yonkers
N.Y., 10701. So I ask you one last time (mabye) to join with me in an effort
to break Scar from his place on the wall of shame and show the rest of the
world the truth about Scar!!

P.S. Notice the LORD next to my name... it *must* be shown *exactly* like
that!!

Free Scar!!! Free Scar!!!

Zazu's worst nightmare

now opposite Tippa

Tenga needs no support from anybody! I admit to my mistakes and take full responsibility (even though Tippa taught me evreything I know) but if she wants to try helping me now, she can forget it! Scar holds the Pride Lands in his hand!! Scar is ultimite!!!

In Tenga's defense, Jarrod, Tenga's not to smart. His spelling isn't to perfect, he *defends* Scar, and he has a warped idea about the Pride Lands. But, all in all, he's not that bad. Also, if I see that damn advertisment again I'll personally see that your head is no longer attached to your body. (note: Tenga is not with me, so to hell with Scar!!)

I must say that the Lion King was my absolute favorite Disney Film yet. Rafiki was the greatest!!! I am looking forward to The hunchback of notre dame. I doubt it can come close to the Lion King though.cheers

Hi!
It is I, again. (gosh I really sound like Talonne.)
Just a brief note (i before e) to Tenga. Check out Scar's Lost Autobiography to see more of Scar giving his defense. Hah! I advertised it again. =-=-=-=Opinion of the moment-=-=-=-=-==- Does anybody want to mail me a Lion King mov file? I mean, I am on an extremely slow server and _really_ want the ROTPL version of Hakuna Matata with Lebo M and Jimmy Cliff. (HINT) Busa Scar!Jarrod aka ScarFan

wouldn't I like to know

I'm back, here to uphold Scar's defense. If Simba had just sat back he'd see that things were going smooth. In my personal opinion, you all are taking the wrong side! Scar rules! Scar is the true heir to the throne! Scar is king!!! Scar is king!!!

between here and eternity

Scar's plan was brilliant... with one small problem, Simba! If it wasn't for the fact tht he trusted the heyenas with killing Simba, Scar would be king!(notice I said "would be")
