This week, a few quick answers to FAQ about myslef: *Yes. Incredibly so. *No. *Not on Sundays. *I'd have to say my favorite food is Pop Tarts. They're inexpensive, they fill you up, You can eat them right out of the box, and I can get them without leaving campus.(Which makes them perfect for when I'm working on "The Net" all day and I don't want to go home to eat.) *Not as much as I used to, my "shrink" says I'm doing much better. But I still crave it from time to time. Whenever I order steak, I get it medium-rare.

I still tape the Timon & Pumbaa show, but I haven't watched it much. It might have improved since last time, but even so, It's got a long way to go before it lives up to _my_ standards...

Hi!!!! (ScarFan has returned)Just thought I'd read the posts on here, and expand on Talonne's opinion. I agree. EJ's version of I just can't wait to be king is much better than the movie version. However, a song that also rocks is Lebo M's and Jimmy Cliff's (I hope that's right) version of 'Hakuna Matata'. It has the same style rock beat, but the whole song is kind of laid back. If you LK fans are interested, or even if you remotely liked the movie, GO OUT AND BUY ROTPL. That's Rhythm of the Pride Lands (for those of you who have not read the faq).My Opinion:How would 'Be Prepared' sound if made out of the movie like the other songs? I can probably recite 98% of this classic Disney film. I have my daughter to thank for that. She will watch the Lion King 24 hours a day (if she was physically able to, or if mom and dad allow her). No parts will be edited out of _King Scar the First_, so It will be rated `NC-17'. Sorry kids... Maybe if you ask really nicely,(and if it's possible) I'll edit out the dirty scenes and release a "clean" version.(Don't count on it though...)***TLK opinion of the week(?)*** This is usually where I bash the "Timon & Pumbaa" show, but since I haven't seen it for a few weeks... I think Elton's version of "I Just Can't Wait to be King" is hillarious the first few times you hear it, but I actually prefer it to the movie version when just listening to the soundtrack. It's got a good rock beat, increased vocabulary,(I learned a few new words...), and... how many of us caught the reference to "The Walrus and the Carpenter"?

I'm 24 and saw the Lion King for the first time last spring when it came out on video. I immediately fell in love with the characters, story, animation and music. I even used part of it for a sermon illustration for my sermon construction class. It was a big hit. . .I was preaching on the demon possesed man in Luke 8 and trying to paint a picture of someone whose life couldnt get much worse. . .so I opened by describing Simba's experiences from the time Mufassa dies until he's lying on the desert floor with the buzzards circling overhead. Then I said "Life couldnt get much worse for the young Lion King and likewise Luke tells us about someone for whom life couldnt get much worse." Then I went right into my sermon. It was fun!Also. . .I have to say that Pumba is my favorite charcter. "So many things to tell her, but how to make her see the truth about my past? Impossible! She'd turn away from me."

TLK is a heartwarming movie/story .The characthers are brave, fuuny,stupid,bad,smart and kind,I just like them. I like some of their funny pharse:"Hakuna Matata!"(it means no worry)and "Asante sanna,squash banana,wewe nugu"(it mean:Thank you,squash banana! you're a baboon and I'm not!)
